Harlan, there is a two step process in getting certified.
First the faculty should obtain approval from their Chair to teach the class either online or hybrid (no certification is required for a web-enhanced class - see http://lamc-ddl.pbwiki.com/Application%20to%20teach%20onlne%20or%20hybrid%20class
Once the faculty receive an OK to teach the class online or have a hybrid class, we then go ahead and do the training. Both John Morales and Jose Maldonado have received some training.
We can train them over the summer, along with completing the certification process.
